Yes I did see that South Park episode. When the devil was asked who had the correct answer he said, "Mormans People, that was the correct answer, Mormans".

here's an excerpt from a bbc.co.uk article i just read:.
"the holy koran recognises jesus as a prophet.
what the book says is an insult to both christians and muslims," maulana mansoor ali khan, general secretary of the all-india sunni jamiyat-ul-ulema, told the reuters news agency.

Just seen the movie and I would give it 2 thumbs up. I agree with others on here that the critics are full of s*** or they are getting pressure from religious groups to give it bad reviews. Maybe not academy awards material but very well done. I guess I am going to hell now....

That does it, all those fanatical AH are just making me want to see it even more. I am waiting for all the opening day hype to die down. Will
here are some reviews i came across about the dvc film.. "the greatest turkey ever told".
"an awful book ..... by great acheivement turned into an even worse film".
"after all the hype, controversy and theological arguments, ron howard's adaptation of dan brown's all-conquering novel is finally with us but unfortunately it's a bit of a damp squib.".
I will be seeing it. May not be this weekend but next. I can wait till all the hype dies down.

seems like the catholic church does not want you to see the "da vinci code".
i mean if they don't want anyone to see the movie they would be better not to say anything.. http://edition.cnn.com/2006/showbiz/movies/05/15/cardinal.davinci.reut/index.html.
The more the Catholic Church protests the more I want to see it to.
What more can be said of an organization that has mainly been responsible for the bloody crusades, inquisitions, wars and pedophile priests? I think they should be more worried about cleaning their own reputation first.

I have no problem with the evangelists or anyone being objective with the Da Vinci Code but in most peoples minds it only goes one way and objectiveness doesn't apply when it comes to the bible.

Da Vinci Code = Bible Both are fictious books. No one has convinced me otherwise.

"This is a shocking and worrying cultural phenomenon that reflects, on the one hand, the ignorance of millions of people and, on the other, the voluptuous pleasure the media take in promoting products that have nothing to do with the truth," the French-born cardinal, 75, told the Paris radio station.
I think this statement is rather hypocritical coming from the Catholic Church.
